IBIMA, which is a centre from ARADyAL network, offers a PhD position in the doctoral fellowship programme INPhINIT “la Caixa”.
From the two frames that INPhINIT “la Caixa” offers, INPhINIT Incoming is addressed exclusively to STEM disciplines, and is for candidates that have resided or carried out their main activity in Spain for less than 12 months in the last 3 years, and willing to carry out their PhD project in research centres accredited with the Spanish Seal of Excellence Severo Ochoa, María de Maeztu or Health Institute Carlos III. This program offers a 3-year contract with a highly competitive salary, as stated by the Foundation in their webpage.
The group of María José Torres focus on the analysis of the mechanisms involved in basophils activation in allergic patients in order to design better diagnostic strategies. The candidate will perform Basophil activation test, cell culture, flow cytrometry and/or transmission electron microscopy, among others. They will need to have a deep understanding of immunology and the technical aspects of flow cytometry.
